ViaFida is a network your competitors are also on. That only works if isolation is a property of the system rather than a promise about it — so this page describes the controls themselves, and how each one can be checked.
How the platform is built
One tenant cannot read another
Isolation is enforced in the database, not in application code that could forget. Every tenant-scoped table carries an organization_id and a row-level security policy, so a query that escapes an application check still returns nothing. As of 22 August 2026, 177 of the 178 tables in the public schema have row-level security enabled; the single exception is PostGIS's coordinate-system lookup table, which holds no customer data.
Staff access is granted per capability, not per person
Internal access is not all-or-nothing. Each admin surface is its own capability, and new capability ships granted to nobody — someone with team-management rights decides who gets it, deliberately, after it exists. A staff member's card is a record of decisions a person made, and every grant is auditable.
Staff sign in through Google Workspace
Administrative accounts authenticate through Google SSO against the ViaFida workspace, so account lifecycle follows the workspace: revoking someone's Google account revokes their access here. There is no separate admin password to leak.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
All traffic is served over TLS. Database contents, file storage, and backups are encrypted at rest by the underlying platform. Uploaded documents — licenses, certificates of analysis — live in access-controlled storage, not on a public URL.
The record of an order cannot be edited after the fact
Each priced line is frozen with the price, the rule that applied, and the supporting documents as they stood at order time. Inventory movement is an append-only ledger. Neither is rewritten when something changes later — a correction is a new entry, so the history stays readable.
Your catalog is yours
Price books are scoped to the relationship they belong to. A distributor's pricing is visible to the buyers it was written for and to nobody else on the network, including other distributors in the same category.

ViaFida holds no third-party security certification and this page does not claim one. It describes controls that are in place today; where something is planned rather than built, it is not listed here at all.
